For the third consecutive year, “Opening to the City”, a mini-festival which aims to take us on an unforgettable journey to uncover the city’s hidden gems and secret corners, takes place in Athens and Piraeus, actively promoting art and providing high-quality cultural opportunities. The festival's appeal and huge success were proven by the positive responses from the audience, which participated in performances, public lectures, and other festivities.

Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall invites you to travel virtually to some of the most historic concert venues in Europe, through a series of exceptional performances that will be streamed via Facebook from March 23 to March 27 at 21:00. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the music!

Walk with the Museum’s archaeologists through the archaeological excavation, which stretches underneath the Museum like a giant exhibit. Wander on the ancient neighborhood’s streets.

Take a closer look at the houses with their courtyards and wells. Enter in the heart of the impressive mansions with private baths. Examine the workshops with the water reservoirs and take a magical stroll through time, history, and the daily life of the people who lived by the shadow of the Acropolis’ rock for over 4.500 years.

Winter Garden City Lounge welcomes the season of Lent with traditional delicacies carefully prepared by talented Pastry Chef Alexandros Koufas. Lenten Delights menu includes the all-time classic “loukoumades” in their lenten version, which you may accompany with honey and walnuts, bitter Valrhrona with hazelnut praline or homemade orange jam with thyme.

You may also enjoy your favourite kind of “halva” – with tahini and mastic or with semolina, cinnamon and raisins – as well as a new olive oil cake with Kozani red saffron, citrus and tahini-honey foam. Exquisitely accompany our Lenten Delights menu with your favourite hot beverage or a glass of dessert wine.

The Athens English Comedy Club presents New York based comedian Liz Miele's "Murder Sheets" - for the first time in Greece!

 

Liz Miele's new hour explores trying to date again, what it means to be an older sibling and how she is handling life as it comes her way. Liz is a NYC comedian that has appeared on Comedy Central, FOX, AXS TV, Hulu and NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. She's been featured in The New Yorker, NY Times, Runner's World, Psychology Today and The Guardian.

She regularly tours internationally and has three albums out including her first, “Emotionally Exhausting” which has over 2 million views on YouTube and her most recent special, "Self Help Me" which has over 1 million views on YouTube. Her newest special “Ghost of Academic Future” premiered Sept 2022 on YouTube and was listed on The New York Times, Paste Magazine and Interrobang “Best Comedy Specials of 2022” list. Her book "Why Cats Are A**holes" was published March 2021 and she has a weekly podcast with comedian Maria Shehata called "2 Non Doctors".

“Murder Sheets” will be Liz Miele’s first appearance in Greece.
