Women Jazz Vocalists Vol.I

Two days of music, improvisations, jazz sounds, melodies, and riffs from five amazing female jazz singers. Women who create, sing and teach the art of jazz vocals in Greece. All five of them are considered among the most renowned jazz vocalists of Greece and Europe.

Each one has her own unique way to interpret jazz standards and create afresh songs, deriving inspiration not only from the great Classic and Latin Jazz Masters but also from the traditional genres that Greece and the rest of Balkan and Mediterranean region share in common.

1002 Nihtes (Nyxtes) live music bar-restaurant is awarded with the Guru Restaurant star 2019. Now, it is also proud to present a tribute-festival to five Women Jazz Vocalists, Volume I. More Volumes to follow!

At the end of the 2nd day of the festival, the audience will be invited to participate in a Voice Circle Jam!
