MODERN & CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Starting Saturday the 14th of March 2020 | 15:00-16:30
Aka | ARCHITECTURE KIDS ATHENS presents the architectural workshop “Modern & Contemporary Architectural Design for Kids.”
In this course, kids will get to know and love modern and contemporary architecture through the work of twelve of its most prominent exponents. Children will explore various methodologies of design through fun and hands-on activities. They will get to know the interplay between modern and traditional architecture, they will discover the concepts of space and envelope, experiment with the geometry of volume and plane, axonometric and perspectival representations, key concepts of engineering as well as techniques of representation such as drawing, montage and model-making. There will be three independent cycles for kids 7-11 years old CYCLE A: "Modern Architecture"
