The biggest celebration of Japanese culture in Greece returns to Athens this April! For its 5th-anniversary milestone, the Japan Festival is expanding to offer an even deeper immersion into the "Land of the Rising Sun." On April 4th and 5th, the Peristeri Exhibition Center will transform into a vibrant hub where traditional heritage meets modern pop culture.

  • Interactive Culture: Dive into Japanese traditions with 65 hands-on workshops, 15 expert talks, and stunning art exhibitions featuring 20 artists across calligraphy, ikebana, and photography.
  • Manga & Gaming: Explore the dedicated Manga section featuring international competitions, or test your skills in the Retro Gaming zone and traditional board game area.
  • Performances: Enjoy a non-stop schedule of musicians, dancers, martial artists, and screenings of anime and documentaries.
