Athens Singers Spring Concert

The Athens Singers and orchestra present Misa a Buenos Aires, by Martín Palmeri. Mr. Palmeri has created this tango mass by combining his experience as a choir director with his work arranging Argentinian tango music.

The result combines the form of a classical Roman Catholic mass, including lyrics in Latin, with the rhythms and attributes of tango.

The end result is a piece that is both spiritual and exciting.  Don't be surprised if you find your foot tapping to the rhythm!

The venue is conveniently located at the War Museum Amphitheatre, across from the Evangelismos metro station. A reception, included in the ticket price, will follow.
