English tutor (K-6th grade students)

Hello! Looking for support for your pre K-8 grade child in learning English and/or studying other subjects through the language of English?

My name is Jessica and I am a native English speaker, and educator of more than 10 years. I am excited to teach through English to support learning through hands on, engaging lessons. I am passionate, experienced and credentialed in teaching multiple subjects for students Kindergarten - grade 6, and have additional experience working with pre-k aged students as well.

I have a depth of knowledge in providing reading and phonics instruction. and I also provide support in developing speaking and listening skills, as well as creating simple and more developed writing pieces. I also have worked with students in math, social studies and current events.

I have years of experience working with children who have mild to severe learning differences and cognitive delays, so I am dedicated to differentiating and creating material to meet your child where they are in their learning journey.

I have taught students aged 3-18 in small group sessions, as well as individualised tutoring sessions. 

Learning is a personal experience and I hope to be able to provide support in nurturing the love learning for your child/children, as well as be a partner with you in collaborating to best support the joy of learning.

I am based in central Athens and provide in home as well as online tutoring sessions.
