Epidaurus Lyceum ~ International Summer School Οn Ancient Drama

In an effort to create an even stronger bond with the locals and the Athens Festival, the county of Argolida has launched a series of educational programs in the past 3 years.

- Epidaurus Lyceum - Ancient Drama Summer School for Students and Performing Art Professionals

A unique experience for students and tutors, as lessons take place in various places such as the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, the Ancient Stadium, the Small Theatre of Epidaurus and many more.

Students learn various acting techniques through workshops and lectures, by tutors from all around the world.

 - Educating the Public on Ancient Drama

In order to deeply understand and enjoy the art of acting, educating the public is a vital part of a cultural society.

The Festival in collaboration with the University of Peloponnese has launched a series of open discussions and workshops, educational programs in schools and the introduction of foreign students and adults to the ancient theatre.


- Creative Play for Children at Epidavros

A special artistic and educational program that takes place during plays at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, so that parents can enjoy the performance as children are learning in a creative way.
