8 Tips On How To Clean Your Barbecue
Anyone who loves to barbecue knows first hand that it is imperative to clean the equipment thoroughly. However, the cleaning process doesn't have to be complicated. Make your barbecue shine with these 8 easy steps and it will look as good as new!

You will need: heavy-duty rubber gloves, a griddle brush, aluminum foil, sponge, kitchen paper, cleaning liquid and a large bucket.

Step 1

Make sure that all the switches are turned off. Turn off and disconnect the propane tank.

Step 2

Wear your rubber gloves and remove the grill grates and metal plaques from the barbecue. Place them in a bucket with warm water and cleaning liquid.

Step 3

Cover the burners with a large piece of aluminum foil to protect them. Use the griddle brush to clean the interior of the barbecue's cover.

Step 4

Scrub the inner parts of the barbecue and over the burners. The debris will fall onto the foil. Wipe clean with a damp kitchen towel.

Step 5

Remove the grease collection tray and empty its contents in a garbage can. Place it in the bucket with soapy water.

Step 6

Remove the grill grates and grease collection tray from the bucket. Lean them against a wall, and use the brush to finish cleaning. Use a hose pipe to rinse them out.

Step 7

Remove the aluminum foil and clean the burners with a brush. Replace the grill grates and grease collection tray and reconnect the propane tank.

Step 8

Clean the exterior of the barbecue with a heavy-duty sponge and soapy water.
