Sportingreece.com is unique among sports websites as it is the only site to report on all sport in Greece and on sports that may concern Greece – in English. Sportingreece is an open door for the many foreign sports lovers who come to live in Greece but whose knowledge of the language is not good enough for them to read the websites that are in Greek. At the last census there were approximately 1.2 million non-Greeks living in Greece of whom an estimated 600,000 have English as either their first or second language. Sportingreece is a way for diaspora Greeks, of first, second, third generation who may not speak or read Greek to keep in touch with the sports they love in the country they love. At the last guestimate this would account for approximately 275 million people across the globe.
