A multi-media initiative to display the natural beauty as well as unexpected images of contemporary Greece is underway in Austria. Greece In Bloom is a project led by multi-awarded Austrian author, artist and actor Andre Heller and has been endorsed by important leading politicians and artists, including ex-vice Chancellor Erhard Busek and Socialist MPs’ leader Jörg Leichtfried. The initiative’s first project, titled Greece In Bloom, A Spring Odyssey, follows famous Austrian director Fabian Eder on a trip from Crete to Western Greece.
Through this journey Eder aims to depict the way of life and the mood of everyday people in the Greek countryside, but also to contribute to dealing with a crisis that may be affecting all European citizens.
