The southbound course of retail sales and the general uncertainty in the market are forcing many outlets in the capital to start making a variety of offers. The Athens Heart mall will have two days of special offers on Friday and Saturday with discounts of up to 60 percent.
There are major discounts at the Fashion Circus Bazaar at 10 Skoufa St in Kolonaki, where offers of between 60 and 90 percent off can be found.
Duty Free Shops also have special offers on well-known cosmetics brands, while US apparel firm Tommy Hilfiger will hold a 10-day bazaar from May 11-20 at its headquarters at Argyroupoli.
The Athens Tradesmen Association is planning a 10-day period of special offers at city center stores on May 17-26.
