Small Business Subsidization Available |
The action targets investments worth €30,000 to € 250,000, while the amount of the subsidization for the prefecture of Attica, islands excluded, and the prefecture of Thessaloniki is set at 55% of the total investment, while for the rest of Greece the same percentage is set at 65%. From the total subsidized amount, 80% will be allocated towards Thessaloniki and the rest of Greece and 20% towards the Attica region.
Developing and completing unfinished buildings are included in the eligible expenses by up to 50% of the total cost. Expenses for buildings can cover the total of the investment in the tourism sector, when for example the investment concerns the development of tourism lodgings. The subsidized businesses will pay 20% of the total investment, while prepayment is set at 40% of the state expense.
The subsidization is part of a support program targeting companies operating in the sectors of manufacturing, tourism, commerce and services.
