The Bejart Ballet Lausanne is giving two dance and musical performances in Athens, Greece to benefit the Together for Children Union. On 27 and 28 March, the Badminton Theatre will feature Maurice Bejart's last choreography entitled Around the World in 80 Minutes. We will be taken on a magical journey through dance and light to the music of J. Strauss, P.I. Tchaikovsky, W.A. Mozart, M. Chatzidakis, M. Theodorakis and other great composers. Around the World in 80 Minutes will take us to foreign lands to present different cultures through the eyes of a young traveller who discovers the world as he attempts to flee his demons.
A unique performance for a great charitable cause which will enchant, move and enthuse all who have the chance to attend.
About the Together for Children Union
Founded in 1996, Together for Children is a union of 10 non-profit Greek organisations. The union's main aim is to offer every form of assistance to more than 5,000 infants, children and young people in need, particularly to those facing chronic, serious or life-threatening physical or mental conditions or the sickness or death of an immediate family member. Our common interest is the child in need and our determination to offer that child more privileges and opportunities in life is represented by our union's logo, all the pieces of which are united to form a heart.
