Fiery Furnaces, one of the most distinctive and creative pop rock musical groups in New York at the moment, will be playing in Athens, Greece for the first time at the An Club on 2 March. After about 10 years on the scene, nine records and continuous live appearances worldwide, siblings Eleanor and Matthew Friedberger will make Athens their last stop on their first European tour of 2010. The lineup includes Jason Lowenstein of Sebadoh on bass and Bob d'Amico on drums. The show will be opened by the Greek band, the Voyage Limpid Sound, the personal musical vehicle of Sergios Voudris, with numerous members and eventful appearances.
