Speed dating is a great way to meet new people in Athens for romance, friendship and networking. Popular all over the world, Speed Dating will help anyone looking to connect in Athens to quickly meet a variety of people in a safe, fun environment. How does it work? Send your name (including surname), your mobile and home telephone numbers and age to events@xpatathens.com with Speed Dating in the subject field. You will then be contacted and asked if you would like to attend the next event held at a great location in fashionable Kolonaki.

On arrival you will receive a free drink and the opportunity to sit opposite a member of the opposite sex for 10 minutes to have a chat to see if you have anything in common and would like to meet again. After 10 minutes a bell is sounded and the gents move round the next table to have a chat with another lady for 10 minutes. This process continues until everyone has had a chance to meet with each other.

You will keep a record of who you have met on a card and mark if you would be interested to see them again. The cards are collected at the end of the evening and contact details forwarded to matched couples the following day by text.
The cost for the ladies is 40 euros and gents 45 euros.
