Office space rent levels keep dropping in Athens, even in high profile areas, due to lack of demand. With the exception of a small number of luxury office buildings, rents have dropped even for the AAA office buildings on Kifissias Avenue, which has traditionally played the role of market barometer. Market analysts say that leases don't exceed the price of €20 per sq m at the once largely sought after business street of the Greek capital. Rent prices for small scale luxury offices in a few rare cases reach €25/sq m.
