Tsar Saltan at the Greek National Opera
Opera for those that are and feel young. This year Carmen Roungeri presents to the young friends of the Greek National Opera, a masterpiece by the Russian composer Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov. It is all about a russian fairy tale in which the poor sisters of Tsar Saltan's wife manage to split Tsar from his wife and their newborn son.

With the help of the Enchanted Swan and after many adventures, the Tsar takes, finally, back his wife and son at a magical island, while the Swan is transformed into a beautiful princess, who gets married with the Tsar's son.
