The Art of Recycling: treasure in your rubbish

The Art of Recycling: treasure in your rubbish
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, RETHINK! Come along to an exhibition of recycled objects and take part in interactive educational seminars for children.Join us at British artist Ptolemy Elrington's exhibition of recycled objects and see how – with a bit of imagination, creativity and a sense of fun – discarded materials such as hubcaps, old supermarket trolleys and other everyday objects can be transformed into modern works of art.

The exhibition aims to raise public awareness of waste management and encourage recycling by showing that the life cycle of an object doesn't stop when it's no longer in use and that just about anything can be re-used long after it has served its primary function.

Admission Free
When: 11–16 December 2008, 1000–2000
Where: National Hellenic Research Foundation
