7th Athens Congress on Women´s Health & Disease

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to the “7th Athens Congress on Women´s Health and Disease”, to be held in Athens from the 11th to the 13th of September, 2008. This field of women’s health and disease has been attracting the attention of the scientific community over the past 50 years. At the dawn of the 21st century a substantial amount of accumulated knowledge has found its way to clinical application giving rise, however, to new pertinent questions.

The Scientific Committee has prepared a program related to issues concerning Women´s Health and Disease keeping a particular interest on gynecology, obstetric and infertility and assisted reproduction aspects. This goal will be fulfilled successfully thanks to the contribution of distinguished invited speakers with the hope of achieving a fair balance not only between basic and clinical science, but also between preventive and therapeutic approaches.

We invite you to share this knowledge with researchers and clinicians of international scientific reputation from all over the world. This aim, will be fulfilled by providing information on the current state of the art through postgraduate interactive courses, live surgery demos, lectures and plenary sessions with the new data presented by the experts in the field.

The city of Athens is the metropolis of western cultural history with unique archaeological sites. The Acropolis, the National Archaeological Museum, The National Gallery, and many other museums and archaeological attractions in Athens are musts.

Last but not least we invite you to participate at the social events of the Congress, which have been carefully planned by the Organizing Committee which coincide with the most beautiful season of the year.

For us this effort was a source of creative joy and stimulating pleasure that we will share with you during next September 2008 in the vibrant city of Athens.
