Swimming Lessons To Become Mandatory In Greek Primary Schools
The Greek Education Ministry for Education, Research and Religious Affairs issued a circular than makes swimming lessons now mandatory in primary schools. According to the new circular, which will take effect in September, the lessons will be mandatory for primary schools located up to 25km from swimming pools, while students in grades 3 and 4 will take precedence and be compelled to take the lessons.
