There tends to be a Pharmacy on every street corner in Athens however they are not always open when need the most. Pharmacies usually keep the same hours as general shops. Monday & Wednesday 09.00 to 15.00 Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 09.00 to 13.30 and 17.30 to 20.30 Generally speaking Pharmacies are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a duty rota system ensuring there is a Pharmacy open in most areas of Athens outside of normal operating hours.
