Comments from students on recent XpatAthens photography courses run by Maria Proios -"I am enjoying the course very much. Have learnt a lot so far and Maria is a
great teacher"
Maria [the photograpgher] is professional, talented and open to her students. She is also organised but also gives a good degree of flexibility considering it is a creative subject. She explains technical issues in a digestable manner for the novice.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the course for the lessons that I was able to attend. They were very informative and I feel that I got a lot out of it. As far as the instructor, Maria, she is great!!! She was soooo patient and helpful, not to mention very friendly. I hope that there will be another course next spring to continue from where we left off" - Rose White
"I found the course very informative and it helped me understand how to use the DSLR manually. Although I had read the manual and some sites on the internet I found that actually attending a course was much more useful to me in understanding the DSLR and how to take more creative photos" Mary Condos
The Digital Photography Course and Maria, the tutor, have given me the confidence & skill to experiment with the camera. This is something you cannot do in auto mode. Peter Simmonds
We really enjoyed the course, learned a lot and wanted to learn more. Karen Riris & Alexandra Riris
Maria made the course very enjoyable and each lesson was different covering new techniques which we then went away to practise. I now feel much more confident using my Digital Camera and am able to use it more to its full capacity. The course was fun, informative and I enjoyed it a lot. Paul Lodge
