The Crimson Rose in Athens and Chios
'Oxi Paizoume' theatre company takes a step further to the journey it started to the works of forgotten Greek authors and explores the most important Greek aesthetist.

The subversive short story of Plato Rodokanakis on stage. 'Oxi Paizoume' theatre company takes a step further to the journey it started to the works of forgotten Greek authors of the beggining of the past century. Having succesfully dealt with Napoleon Lapathiotis' and Konstantinos Christomanos' works throughout the past two years, the company now explores the mysterious aspects of the most important Greek aesthetist, Plato Rodokanakis and stages his subversive short-story The Crimson Rose in an attempt to shed light to his multileveled personality. Rodokanakis Rediscovered 1908-2008. The Crimson Rose, from July 3 to September 23, in Athens and Chios.

The performance is being presented at the Athens Byzantine and Christian Museum from July 3 to 13, at Bios, Athens from July 16 to 22, at the Isadora & Raymond Duncan Dance Centre, Athens from July 26 to 30, Kastrominas Theatre, Chios from August 29 to 31 and at the New Benaki Museum on Peiraios street from September 20 to 23.
