Metro/ISAP Work Stoppage Scheduled for Tomorrow

Workers on the Athens metro and the Piraeus-Kifissia electrical railway (ISAP) will be staging a work stoppage on Tuesday in order to attend a general assembly of their union.

The stoppage will begin at around 10.30 a.m. with trains pulling out of circulation, though service is expected to be fully restored by 3.30 p.m., after workers decide whether they will be proceeding with more action to protest wage cuts and other changes in their sector.
