Prime Minister George Papandreou, addressing Thursday an informal cabinet meeting, termed the votes that took place in Parliament on Wednesday and Thursday a difficult battle "that we waged and won united."Despite the ratification of the medium-term programme and the enabling law, the prime minister stressed that "we still have very difficult and crucial battles ahead of us," adding "there is not even a day to lose."Papandreou insisted that the country needs historic changes, which the government is determined to promote.
