Yoga for Children : 13 years of experience has shown me and my students, the benefit Yoga can bring to ones health and life. Following from this, I am working to introduce Yoga into Children's regime at School (be it as an after school or classroom activity). Yoga, for Children of all ages, has proved popular in Western Europe and the USA. We as adults reap the benefits, so why shouldn't Children? Children that practice Yoga have not just benefited from the health aspect, but are found to be calmer and concentrate fuller in the classroom. Yoga gives the practitioner (child, adult, elderly person) a well rounded body work out, and a stimuli for mental balance and wellness.
