Founded in 2019, the Athens English Comedy Club is the first, and only, purely English comedy club in Greece, bringing you local and international comedians, right in the heart of Athens.

The Cube is a co-working, startup cluster space in the heart of the city, hosting the best of Athens innovators in technology & making space.

Join us on Sunday July 31st on the rooftop of The Cube, for an open mic night under the stars, with a view of the Acropolis!

10 comedians, 5’ each, all in English.

It'll be a mix of everything. A potluck of comedy. Experienced comedians trying out new material, new comedians trying out their hand at comedy, and everything in between.

The Acropolis Museum celebrates August Full Moon on Friday 12 August 2022 with Greek songs about the moon, film music and famous melodies from abroad, performed by the historic Hellenic Air Force Band, in the Museum’s entrance courtyard at 9 p.m.

 

The Hellenic Air Force Band consists of senior and junior officers – high-level musicians who studied at various conservatories of the country and were admitted into the ranks of the Air Force after passing certain examination. The Band takes part in worldwide music festivals and leads the 5th Avenue parade in New York dedicated to March 25th celebrations of the Greek expatriates. Major Alexandros Litsardopoulos is the Conductor of the Band. The singers that will perform are Elena Orfanidi and Aggelos Mousikas.

   

On this occasion, the Museum will remain open from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight with free entry for all visitors from 9 p.m. onwards, giving visitors the opportunity to stroll through the galleries and enjoy the view of the Acropolis under the charming moonlight. The popular djs/producers from the roster of the unsurpassed Afterlife, Massano and The Element will undertake the decks of Bolivar. The British Massano producer of the viral tracks "The Feeling" and "ID" has won continuous support from famous names such as Tale Of Us, Artbat, Mind Against and appears at the biggest festivals and clubs worldwide. The Element is a pioneering artist from Malta with over 30 years of experience in Melodic house & techno having performed along with all the biggest artists in the world. After signing with Afterlife in 2019, with his first single 'Ryder, he became world-famous for his quality performances and productions.

Get ready for Freddie! Hard Rock International kicks off the annual celebration of the life and music of stave legend Freddie Mercury by hosting unique actions entitled "Freddie for a Week", from Thursday 1 September to Wednesday 7 September 2022.
